Cezeo
software releases free password keeper for Pocket PC
Geekzone 31 March 2005
CEZEO Software has launched SecureWord.Mobile, a password manager
program for Windows Mobile Pocket PC devices. Sensitive data can
be safely stored and secure thanks to built-in protective measures,
including details like the program automatically clearing the
clipboard when it is minimised or closed.
SecureWord.Mobile uses
various encryption algorithms. The main one is the AES (Advanced
Encryption Standard). The program has the option to use RipeMD160
(European standard of digital signature), SHA256 and TwoFish.
SecureWord.Mobile
can be used to store any kind of information, even files. The
program’s built-in password generator lets users instantly
come up with a new password when needed for a new application
or web site.
The program
is currently available for free, with additional information about
encryption usage available on the company's website.
