Display in Kiosk Browse view

When you want to cut and paste an image of a webpage into other applications, such as Microsoft Words, Powerpoint, etc, and you don’t want to have the toolbar and system bus tray around that image – you can use the Kiosk Browse view.

There are 2 ways to activate this view:

Method 1
1) Goto [Start] and click “Run”
2) Type the command “iexplore –k”. The screen will momentarily go blank. Don’t worry.
3) Press [Ctrl] and [O] together. An Open dialog box will open.
4) Type the web address (URL) of the website you want to visit. The website will be displayed to you.

A quicker way to perform steps #2-#4 is to type the website address after the command “iexplore –k”. For example, “iexplore –k www.amazon.com”.

To return to normal viewing mode, just press [Alt] and [F4] to close the website.

Method 2
1) Press [F11] to display the webpage in full screen mode. The webpage will be displayed in full screen mode with the toolbar at the top of the webpage.
2) Right click at the toolbar and select “Auto-Hide”. The toolbar will disappear.

To make the toolbar appears, just move the mouse cursor to upwards to touch the top of the screen. To return to normal viewing mode, just press [F11] again.
