Are the results of the GE really a surprise? Not so if you are the man on the ground. There are many issues from race and religious discrimination to cost of living that the people on the ground that are unhappy with.

So, it makes one wonder why is it the government of the day did not notice this? Or, it is a case of "Emperor's new cloth"?
